A FUNDAMENTAL SOLUTION FOR THE LAPLACE OPERATOR ON THE QUATERNIONIC HEISENBERG GROUP

In this paper, the author studies the Laplace operator on the quaternionic Heisenberg group, construct a fundamental solution for it and use this solution to prove the Lp-boundedness and the weak (1-1) boundedness of certain singular convolution operators on the quaternionic Heisenberg group.     

Some formulae for the q-Bernoulli and Euler polynomials of higher order

The purpose of this paper is to give a proof of Kummer type congruence for the q-Bernoulli numbers of higher order, which is an answer to a part of the problem in a previous publication (see Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 32 (2001) 1565-1570).     

Coupled intervals in the discrete calculus of variations: necessity and sufficiency

In this work we study nonnegativity and positivity of a discrete quadratic functional with separately varying endpoints. We introduce a notion of an interval coupled with 0, and hence, extend the notion of conjugate interval to 0 from the case of fixed to variable endpoint(s). We show that the nonnegativity of the discrete quadratic functional is equivalent to each of the following conditions: The nonexistence of intervals coupled with 0, the existence of a solution to Riccati matrix equation and its boundary conditions. Natural strengthening of each of these conditions yields a characterization of the positivity of the discrete quadratic functional. Since the quadratic functional under consideration could be a second variation of a discrete calculus of variations problem with varying endpoints, we apply our results to obtain necessary and sufficient optimality conditions for such problems. This paper generalizes our recent work in [R. Hilscher, V. Zeidan, Comput. Math. Appl., to appear], where the right endpoint is fixed.

分子聚集理论在医药学研究中的应用

本文利用聚集型状态方程，克拉贝龙方程以及临界条件推出聚集活性参量方程．分析结果表明，医药的药理活性是可以用聚集活性参量予以定量表征．本文给出了某些医药的主要的药物成分，如氧化亚氮 乙醚、氯仿和水杨酸甲酯等嘛醉剂），一氧化氮（硝酸甘油）、乙醇胺（医药活性剂）和多巴胺（神经递质）的生物活性数据．实践经验表明，这些化学品分别在生命体的心血管系统、神经系统和免疫系统中起着重要的药理功能作用．这表明，本文研究的内容在医药学研究领域有其重要意义．     

Potential formation and high density plasma production on the tandem mirror GAMMA 10

GAMMA 10 experiments have advanced in high density experiments after the last EPS Workshop where we reported high density plasma production by using an ion cyclotron range of frequency heating at a high harmonic frequency and neutral beam injection in the central cell. Recently a high density plasma was obtained with much improved reproducibility than before and without degradation of diamagnetic signal. The high density plasma was attained by adjusting the spacing of the conducting plates installed in the anchor transition regions. Dependencies of particle confinement time, ion energy confinement time and plasma confining potential on plasma density were obtained for the first time in the high density region. Presented at 5th Workshop “Role of Electric Fields in Plasma Confinement and Exhaust”, Montreus, Switzerland, June 23–24, 2002.     

Finite Element Solution of Conical Diffraction Problems

This paper is devoted to the numerical study of diffraction by periodic structures of plane waves under oblique incidence. For this situation Maxwell's equations can be reduced to a system of two Helmholtz equations in R ² coupled via quasiperiodic transmission conditions on the piecewise smooth interfaces between different materials. The numerical analysis is based on a strongly elliptic variational formulation of the differential problem in a bounded periodic cell involving nonlocal boundary operators. We obtain existence and uniqueness results for discrete solutions and provide the corresponding error analysis.     

若干图类的邻强边染色

研究了若干图类的邻强边染色 .利用在图中添加辅助点和边的方法 ,构造性的证明了对于完全图 Kn和路 Lm 的笛卡尔积图 Kn× Lm,有χ′as(Kn× Lm) =△ (Kn× Lm) +1 ,其中△ (Kn× Lm)和χ′as(Kn× Lm)分别表示图 Kn× Lm的最大度和邻强边色数 .同理验证了 n阶完全图 Kn的广义图 K(n,m)满足邻强边染色猜想 .     

测定麦芽糖转糖苷反应体系组成的高效液相色谱法

建立了分析低聚异麦芽糖组成的高效液相色谱法，采用Spherisorb-NH2色谱柱，示差折光检测器，乙腈－水（体积比70：30）为流动相，外标法定量测定；结果显示各糖质量浓度在0．1－10g/L范围内与峰面积呈良好线性关系，相关系数为0．999 0－0．999 7；应用法跟踪了pH5．0的柠檬酸－柠檬酸钠缓冲溶液中以α－葡萄糖转苷酶为催化剂在58℃温度下的麦芽糖转糖苷反应，分析了反应体系组成随时间的变化，得到了上述反应条件下麦芽糖最大限度地转化为低聚异麦芽糖的最佳反应时间为24h；该法快捷、简单、准确，可用于低聚异麦芽糖生产的质量控制。
